Daddy and our very nice neighbour Ian spent a rainy afternoon designing and making a hood for our new Madsen bike. We are just making a hood that fits it a bit better and it’s all ready to go.

Isabella turned 4 last Sunday and today she had a party at Cheeky Monkeys. Seth got to catch up with the old crew and had a fab time.

Trumpet

And he can play the trumpet. Seth has been learning the piano with Mummy since the new year, but after going along the Voyage of the Bugle Seth asked to learn the trumpet too. He got a big surprise today when a trumpet arrived for him in the post. Here he is givig Eli a quick tune.

Mollie and Michelle came to stay for a couple of days. Today Mollie and Seth braved the cold weather and went for a play in the park. Seth wore his new coat that Nanny Liz sent him in the post.

It’s Daddy’s birthday tomorrow and I baked him a chocolate cake. It tastes a bit smokey because me and Mummy burnt the chocolate and is a bit crunchy where I dropped egg shell in but we had lots of fun making it and I’m sure Daddy will like it.

Eli doesn’t much like having his picture taken so Mummy was really pleased when she snapped Eli having a giggle with the camera on her mobile phone. I was making him laugh by doing ‘this little pig’ with his toes.

New year games with nanny

We went back to Sussex to visit Nanny and Grandad. We went to see Cinderella staring Justin from cbeebies at the Capitol Theatre while Eli went with Mummy and Daddy to visit friends in Brighton. A lovely start to the new year.
